Hi Everyone,
While I’m out today, please use the block to work on your final projects. As you work, make sure your project includes the following elements: A. Detailed historical context/background of your topic (who, what, where, when, causes/effects) B. An explanation of what essential information about your topic that students would need to know for the AP test. C. An explanation of which of the eight APUSH course themes that your topic connects to and the extent to which your topic demonstrates continuity or change within that theme. D. An explanation of why your topic is essential learning for a student (in 30 years) to fully understand American society between 2008-2018. Keep in mind that your project is supposed to be a “pitch” to the College Board meant to persuade them that your topic must be included in the new Period 10. So you should make a clear argument about why your topic should be included as essential learning for the time period E. A references document that cites at least six sources in “Parise Style” citations
