B. Timing: you should spend no more than 45 minutes writing this essay. After you look over the materials above and think about your answer, start a timer and force yourself to complete the essay in 45 minutes or less (you may type or hand write). Remember, on the AP test, you will only about 30 minutes to write the LEQ (including planning time). So 45 minutes to write is significantly more than what you will then on the real exam. C.
